If you have a toddler, you can understand where I am coming from......they love to throw things...right? They love to sort things...right?
Well, my little one loves to do these things anyway. Food on the highchair tray? Thrown to the ground. A big mess of mismatched toys? She loves sorting them. I guess she could be a little on the strange side, heheehee. Can 19 month old's have OCD?
What's a mama to do to help quelch her toddler's 2 loves?
Bean bags of course!
These are not the traditional bags.....they are way more cuted up with adorable fabrics......and they are filled with rice instead of beans. Oh, starchy goodness!
Now, she can throw something fun and safe. And, she can organize them in her bins. The best part, is that they are a bit crinkly too.....I added some shopping bag pieces to them to give 'em a bit of fun noise.
She's not quite up from her nap yet.....so the ultimate test is yet to come! The rice bag was still full, so I went a lil crazy.......
This little rice filled pouch is HEAVEN on my wrists......I wonder if I have carpal tunnel syndrome? What are the symptoms, anyway?
....And, meet the most HOOTY-LICIOUS family around!
Aren't they so sweet? This lil rice bag family will be living in the shop later tonight.....hopefully they go to a good, owl lovin home.
Hope your weekend was filled with fun!
Happy new week!

LOVE!! All of it...simply love!! The beanbags are fab!! Lily will love them!! And she isn't weird....my two are always sifting and sorting something! Gentry lines things up all over the house...blocks, tubes of chap stick, spoons, whatever she comes across! Huntler did the same thing, although he doesn't do it as much anymore! I used to joke that they had OCD too! If so, they come by it naturally!
Hope you had a great weekend!!
Those bean/rice bags are a great idea for the little ones! My boys play in rice every now and then when I feel like cleaning up a HUGE mess, maybe i'll make them some bean bags to add to the mix. Owls are darling... I tried to make some as door hangers a while ago, but I don't think I stuffed them enough. Yours are way cuter!
Love the bean bags. Great idea. Anything can be thrown at this age. The owl fan is adorable too.
I think your blog is fantastic and everything you make is just the cutest thing! You are truly talented. I read back through some of your posts and I am totally with you on the Dave Matthews and Robert Pattinson thing. Major *swoon* on Dave.
Oh, and I've been checking for the owls. May have missed them. They are adorable.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I gave you a blog award that was recently given to me. You can check it out if you are interested. If anything, I hope it sends a few more readers/customers your way. You deserve it!

Yeah! I got the owls!
Love them!!
genious!!!! How fun are those bean bags????! Can't wait to hear how Lily likes them? Crinkly sounds and all. Those are hands down the prettiest bean bags I have ever seen! Your talent and creativity never ceases to amaze me.
Hey - question for you.... a few months ago, you found some really amazingly beautiful flash cards and you were planning to laminate them and put them together on a ring for Lily. Where did you get those flash cards???? I want to get a pack and do an art project for our playroom wall. Thanks! :)
I'M DROOLING OVER THOSE OWLS! And the bean bags are so cute I wouldn't mind having a set for myself! You have a super lucky little girl :)
Even though there are MANY MANY amazing things in Korea....I've yet to find any truly amazing owl things...which is some what depressing...but great for my bank account! :)
I've now started three separate blogs if you'd like to check any of them out in your [non-existent] free time!
What a fabulous idea! And I LOVE them OWLS!!!
You are too darn creative :)
Love the cute owl family!
Ah-dorable!! Love your owls, of course. I still get compliments when I wear my owl pjs from Target--and yes, people see me in my pjs quite frequently!! :)
Bean bags are a great idea! My son likes using them like a ball, to toss them back and forth with people. Fun times!
wow, so cute! Love those bean bags, love those owls... and I have got to make one of those bags to go near my wrists! AWESOME work!
Cute owls! I love ...

Little Lily is a lucky girl...her Mommy makes the cutest stuff!!!
Wow, I never thought to make my own wrist pads...too cool! I know I have carpel tunnel in my wrists, and it makes my fingers sometimes feel like they are tingly and numb.
